Squeezing some extra juice out of the old Core i5 2500K

I needed to inject a bit of life into my old Core i5 2500K, and originally I'd not purchased an overclockable motherboard, so I thought I'd pick up one of the various overclockable ones. I wasn't specifically looking for the ASRock as there were a few types available, but I was basing my choice mostly on finding one at the right price, as it were. I'm well chuffed with the results. I think the stock speed of the 2500k is like 3.3GHz, and I just instantly o/c'd it to 4.6GHz in the bios and it's been completely stable (note: I did already have an aftermarket heatsink on the cpu). The main issues I was suffering from was my whole system getting laggy when the cpu was maxing out to 100%, whereas now it copes much better. Critically I don't keep getting short screen freezes during hectic FPS battles!

Good kit but torch is not well made

The kit is nice and you get some good gear in it, but the torch is temperamental and comes on really dim. I had to give it a few taps and turn it off and on a few times to get it to work. Even then the glue did not set even in about an hour (until the torch batteries dimmed too much). Not sure how good the glue is, it set after leaving it on a window sill for a day after.
