Works Great!

Works great if you take the time to clean it properly at least 2-3 times per week. The clear bowl helps you see when it needs a cleaning or when the water level gets low as well. Regular dog bowls should be cleaned daily so I don't mind cleaning this one a few times per week. It's quiet and holds more than their old dog bowls. They like drinking out of the top as a bubbler. Happy with this purchase!

Love The Weighted Filter Base!

I have used over 3 different brands of barrel pond pumps and always had to cobble my own pump filters with produce containers and had issues with them needed to be weighted down. I needed a new pump and glad I found this one on sale. Only had to pay $4 more for this and the weighted base and pump filter cover are very nice! It also came with an adjustable fountain stem. I used to have water coming in on the side of my barrel, but if anything blocked the flow water dribbled out the side of the pond and the water level would go way down. Having it in the center prevents this. The power cord on this pump is also much thicker than my other pumps so seems to be better quality.
