It was actually an RX-V596
A great receiver for my application and probably more than I need, but I look forward to taking advantage of the headroom for future expansion. This is a 5.1 surround receiver, but I'm only using 2 channels. It's really very very nice and I actually feel a little bad because I didn't realize what it was until I got it and I probably should have paid more for it had the seller realized. Anyway, Yamaha makes great stuff and this is an example thereof.

Good looking and sounding and very portable. Great if you find them on sale
I bought these on a bit of a lark, they look cool, I like Sony stuff and I'm dealing with a bit of a headphone addiction. The design is great for stowing in a bag as they fold up quite nicely. The sound from these is quite good and I was able to hear good detail as well as decent bass. I've seen these for as much as $99 but I paid a lot less and found them to be a good value at the lower price, but $99 seems like a lot.

Great vintage Apple keyboard
It feels great, the Alps switches are amazing and while the caps look unusual, typing on them isn't an issue at all. Easy to convert to USB and I feel like I type faster on it.
