great concept sci-fi
I watched this movie when it became available on HBO in the 80s. I was just a kid back then but found it fascinating. I still enjoy it as an adult. I can appreciate the special effects because for the time it came out, they were really good. Someone watching it for the first time now might find it a little low tech because of how far effects have come since then. The concept is still solid.... and who doesn't love Walken ?? Louis Fletcher too, and the beautiful Natalie wood in her last film.
