Capacitance OK
Capacitance is within spec. I haven't evaluated the 630 VDC voltage rating yet.

Good implementation of AADE-type meter
1 of 1 found this helpful This type of LC meter used to be sold by Almost All Digital Electronics (AADE) here in the USA. That company is no longer in business due to the death of the owner. This current offering is a good substitute for the AADE product. It was compared to an existing AADE meter and read identical to it testing lab-standard components. Both meters were within 2% of the component value.
One minor bit of confusion. The opening for the power switch on the case is labeled "AC" for the "ON" position and "DC" for the "OFF" position. To turn on the meter, the slide switch should be moved to the up ("AC") position whether the meter is being powered by internal batteries or from an external power source through the mini-USB connector.
