Excellent Brakes
The Avid Guide RS system is an excellent braking system. I recently upgraded from a Shimano Deore setup and can immediately notice the difference in stopping quality. The 4 piston setup provides stability and control throughout the braking curve. The cost is in my opinion NOT prohibitive and well worth the investment for anyone serious about their ride.

Good item
As described, reliable ANALOG system. The unit needed minor calibration, but it otherwise works as described. Solid state construction definitely adds that margin of control and comfort. MADE IN USA AS WELL!

Great tire
I am using this as a rear with a Der Baron Projekt up front and am loving it! This tire adds extra traction and puncture resistance with weight that is well acceptable for the performance.
