A Must-Have for the CW OP
The 250 hz filter excels at reducing unwanted nearby signals and especially good for reducing background (band) noise. I'm guessing that this is a 6-pole filter. At $80 this is a good deal; but for $115 you can an Inrad 8-pole filter.

EXPENSIVE ! But worth it?
1 of 1 found this helpful Elegent styling and of the highest quality, and it was a top performer in its day (early '60s through mid 80's). So good it was used in embassy, security establishment, and military applications. Still an excellent shortwave and AM broadcast receiver. In production through 1976. The ultimate analog radio receiver!
