Don't bother with the countless budget brands, get this one!
Hands down, this is the one to buy. Software works, including remote view for both PC or mobile, auto detects camera's, and had all the features you would expect for a quality security DVR. I have used other brands started with ZOSI. then Samsung units, this one is in a different league of quality. There are countless budget packages available, but all that I have tired had quirks and bugs, none except this brand has functional web viewing.
Only ding in the software is in the scan setup of live view cameras, you can only select a camera once. For example, when using 4x4 view with scanning in sequential groups of 4, there are 32 configurable channels in 8 pages, but you can't have a camera on more than one page. I would like the option of viewing the same cameras in the top two positions in all 4x4 pages and then in the other 7 available positions.

Best monitor ever
2 of 2 found this helpful This monitor works perfectly with my DVR and cameras, fully HD 1080P and the output video is so pretty, 3D comb filter is the best choice I have ever made.

A high end monitor worth the money
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a great monitor with a clear picture and very good quality. If you have a high end security system then you need a good clear monitor to go with it.
Old monitors can change the quality of your picture coming from the security cameras through your DVR.
