15 thru 20 Ford F-150 OEM Genuine Ford Parts Tailgate Damper Kit - No More SLAM!

Excellent OEM part and very easy to install

I definitely prefer the oem tailgate assist hidden behind the right-side taillight housing assemble versus the exposed aftermarket piece attached to the left side not to mention I'm not a fan of ANYTHING made in Ch*na. Go for it, the install was a very easy one man install. Fairway Ford in Ohio is the absolute best, their prices are near half of what my local Ford dealer charges. They usually ship the same day and I'm always surprised how fast the part gets to me. Once again, kudos to Kevin and the online parts team!!! JimU

Weak slide rail

Worked well for 2 months. I weigh 180 lbs but the aluminum rail where the seat slides was starting to bend very slightly from my weight and that started the seat to drag as it slid across that area. I had to put a block under the rail where it was starting to bend in order to continue using it. decent value and the overall quality seemed good but I would NOT recommend it if you weigh over 200 lbs. In the end you get what you pay for.
