2 of 2 found this helpful This is the best and easiest stove top pressure canner we have used. We have an old pressure canner that uses the gasket and it is always difficult to seal and get open after cooling. This canner is very easy to seal and open. A little olive oil Norge bevel and is is done. We do make sure and try and keep it even when tightening the lid. But so far haven’t had a problem canning beans, spaghetti, meat, etc. well worth the investment.
