It's real flimsy.
3 of 3 found this helpful Ok. It's real flimsy. I'm sure the shield will not "break" , but would give inwards from a blow. And if struck on the top edge, from a downwards strike, it will bend. Also the pad is of REAL cheap foam(like a dollar stored seat cushion), and it will not absorb an impact. But with that said...there's nothing else out on the market and it is better than getting hit with a rock.
If you buy, be prepared to do some work on it. Mine came with word-and Chinese symbols (white Writing on the black part) big letters "FUNG PUCK" or something and even bigger symbols???.also the strap is -weird. The metal buckle ends on the middle of my arm( now that for sure needs fixing.
