Seemed good to go, was bought as gift. To be given as Christmas gift.
Don"t know if it would be considered lightweight or not. I bought it as a gift. I only charged the battery, brought the machine up and went on line. I surfed the web for about an hour or so and battery was still ok. computer seemed to operate without problems. I am not a tech type and don't know how to check all functions. But everything I checked, worked.

Does what it should
Standard battery strap. It does it's job, Not much else to say about this product.

improved case
This case seems much better than the Otter Box of a few years ago. rubber outer edges seem better quality. the flap that closes the charging port seems more sturdy. That was the first thing that broke off my original. Really like the bright Orange coloring as it makes it easy to see no matter where I set it down.
