OK when new.
2 of 2 found this helpful Firstly, congratulations to the retailer for actually specifying a pair of dampers are offered. Most retailers are unclear about this.
The package arrived an fitted though my letterbox.
These have much more sliding force than the ones which came off, so they have dramatically reduced the washing machine vibration.
Unfortunately the plastic pegs for the drum side would not latch on the drum, so there is a risk of them eventually falling out (as one other reviewer noted). I therefore cut the tip off the peg & put an 8mm bolt through the centre of the peg, with 2 nuts on the end of it, so as not to stress the drum. If they need replacing again, this will also dramatically speed up the process as I will not have to remove the front of the washing machine.
One year on, the washing machine vibration is increasing an there is a knocking noise. I suspect this is from the dampers which have quite a short bearing surface & I can feel some side to side play.
