Gorgeous piece of HiFi history

Bought it for a DIY subwoofer for the garage, Saturday afternoon project. I ordered the driver, designed the folded port enclosure and assembled the box. Hook-up couldn't be easier, + to +, - to -, repeat. Done. I must admit, I was a little uneasy when I hooked up the amp. Would it work? Would it sound good? + to +, - to -, repeat. The moment of truth. Sounds great. Overall, a really professional sound!

If this is your first SDR, please buy this kit!

If this is your first SDR, please buy this kit instead of just the dongle. Great kit, great value. You can thank me later. I bought just the dongle and then a couple of kits just to equal what you see here. I spent more money and had to wait for delivery of the accessories. Just buy the kit. Pros: It is truly amazing to see the waterfall for the first time. You can see the spectral meaning of AM, SSB, FM and CW. It also can be used as a "fish finder" when you want to scan the bands for activity or check out your local 2M repeater output and inputs at the same. Cons: I have an older model SDR and it is not frequency stable enough for CW. I haven't tried this one.

New camera case for the new camera

I was a little apprehensive about buying a discount camera case for our new Sony A6000. Turns out my fears were unfounded. The case fit perfectly, is sturdy, allows reasonable access to the camera. The quality - fit and finish - were as I expected. Functionality of the tripod attachment adequate for my needs. Overall, I recommend the product to anyone wanting utility from their camera case
