Surprisingly capable
1 of 1 found this helpful Despite being originally released a year or two shy of a decade ago this little processor still chugs along great! You likely won't be hitting even medium settings in most AAA game titles, but it handles stuff like BF4 on medium-low settings at very playable frame rates.
LGA775 processors are known for easy overclocking, and this is no exception. Reaching above 3.0ghz on stock voltage is cakewalk, and there is plenty more to go from there. If you need a solid processor for an extreme budget build its hard to beat one of these for $30. Grab a P5Q and 8GB of ram and you'll be playing a lot more than you might expect. It's absolutely outclassed by modern processors, but if you have a 775 system and need just a bit more life out of jt this is your go to unless you want to give a xeon 771 conversion a shot.
