A qualified recommendation
I would have like the product better if it braced against the boat, and didn't curl under so much. Nevertheless, a real sharp looking rig that I saw installed on a newer pontoon boat - identical. I replace the wood screws with bolts to make it a little stronger handhold. I weigh close to 300 lbs and it supported me just fine. Also, for every ladder I see the foot pads KILL my feet. I used plastic ties to wrap the foot pads in pipe insulation. Now this works well for me.

Finally Some Relief
Been nursing a sore Achilles heel for a year now. This brace is comfortable, inexpensive, and has me walking briskly again. The separate air bladders are great: when you step down on the arch, the Achilles gets squeezed a little. This massaging has help me feel a lot better, and the brace fits just fine inside you shoes.
