works very well. I'm using it when I paint small figurines. You have to hold items at a fixed close distance to keep them in focus.

Interesting to read about the behind-the-scenes of the Quatermas tv and film series. Helps if you've seen them or read about them before hand. Many references to both tv and film versions of Quatermas stories and to many other science-fiction films and tv series of the 20th century.

Great item! Didn't know it existed until...
Great item! Didn't know it existed until I found it here with a search. I've only ever seen the color Hammer film. I've never seen the first b/w television version. Now I can read the (revised) tv teleplay at least. Interesting differences. to see how it was changed and shortened for the later movie. Thank you so much!
