Good bang for the buck product
Got more than I expected. Pros: Trust rod adjustment at body end of the neck. Setup was good and needed very little intonation tweaking at the neck. Good Sound. In spite of its "bargain " feel it does emulate a real Music Man bass. I liked the old fashion jack on the pick guard. Cons: It is heavy in weight. Needs a midrange tone control. I like the thick neck just like on my real Music Man bass but some may not prefer.

Boss Katana 500 - 500W Bass Amp Head

Katana 500 ready to compete with any other Bass amp head.
The Katana 500 Bass amp head sounds like it is ready to compete with amps like Mark Bass and Ampeg. You should read the manual or see a video to fully understand the control layout but after that I quickly found a setup for the bass tone I like. I could not find a rack mount kit for the amp. The speaker calibration function helps improve sound and I hope to see this kind of feature in all amps in the future, With the Boss/Roland name behind it I expect it to be a reliable product.
