My Humax gave up and deleted all my recordings and the disc would not reformat. I was about to buy a new one when I saw on Utube how easy it was to fit a new disc. I thought Id try it and bought this one - it was reconditioned, so not new, but it was realy good value, and when Id got the old one out and put this in it worked first time and so far has been going fine for over a month, including recording all the Xmas TV. Thats less than £10 against more than £200. Excellent value.
