Hope For the Rhythmicly Challenged...maybe...
1 of 1 found this helpful Purchased this for my Husband for his Birthday...(...I consider his the Oldest of the children). For some brief background-my husband is a Network Engineer with a Masters in Computer Science-a very intelligent man with extensive computer knowledge-loves various game systems. We just purchased a Wii last month, by far the Wii system exceeds our other game systems. My husband played Guitar Hero on our neighbors system, but they did not have the guitar & just used the remote to play. They sat down one Saturday & ended up playing Guitar Hero all afternoon-he was hooked. That's when I decided to get it for his Birthday. He played it for the first time Last Night. The Guitar Controller seems awkward at first BUT the game has an interactive teach and practice session that easily explains and demonstrates how to use the guitar. Within about 15 minutes he was able to play through complete songs on easy and within the hour he was playing Medium. I even played a bit & I'm not all that into Gaming. The game has appeal for all ages-Fun and Interactive- The Guitar Controller might be frustrating for younger players-they may want to learn using the remote and move up to the Guitar as you have to use both hands to play the fret buttons and strum the guitar & occasionally use the Whammy bar. The guitar is as realistic as a guitar game controller could be. Genuinely a new gaming experience that is both challenging yet not high pressure or extremely demanding in the beginning and moderate levels. Relatively Easy to pick up and play, difficult to put down and walk away from. Extremely precise rhythmicly- for those who have no rhythm, this game could be very frustrating as there is little or no room for error. I'd recommend to anyone purchasing this for an experienced gamer-THE GUITAR REMOTE IS A MUST. For anyone looking to purchase this for a young, or relatively inexperienced gamer-the game would still be a great game using just the remote. Good Graphics and multiple levels of difficulty, it's a total package game that I'd recommend to anyone. If you're taking the time to read game reviews on Guitar Hero, Stop Reading and Buy It Already-you're going to love it.

Sure to Be a Classic
Destined to be a Classic. Beautiful Animation, Touching Story, Funny and Sweet. The main Theme: Love is Universal. Must See for any fan of Animated Family Films. The first time you watch WallE, you will say it is a MUCH better movie than you thought it would be- The trailers and promo's for this one just didn't do it justice. Nemo is one of my Top all time favorites, WallE is the first I've seen to Rival the Beauty and Emotion of Nemo. Would make a FABULOUS gift or perfect Just Because Purchase, something for all ages with no worries of violence or inappropriate humor. Kids of all ages will want to watch again and again! I personally will be purchasing this as a gift for THREE different Families this Christmas!

2 of 2 found this helpful I purchased this game for my 5 year old daughter-She received a Game Boy Color from my Nefew when he got the Newest GameBoy For Christmas. She did not have any games which she could easily play, so I set out to find ones that were at her skill set with characters that she would enjoy. I played this game before she did, and from an adult perspective, I found it repetitive. There are only 4 different short games which you play to advance, three of which are very very similar, with the only difference being that you are either in a car or boat...There is a Match Game which is challenging. My Daughter, however LOVES this game, she will play it for hours and still has not mastered it. I DO fear however that as soon as she figures out how to complete each game she will most likely quickly become bored with it...But she has had it for some time now and she is still entertained by it. Bottom line, if you are looking to purchase it for a Young Girl Player, who is NOT extremely Skilled at game play, then this game is perfect!
