The best street rod kit ever produced? Maybe
1 of 1 found this helpful This kit is excellent. I’ve been crazy about cars since i was a toddler. Been building kits since 1972. Now I had the 1929 roadster version made by Revell. It was impressive but honestly the Chevy engine took away from the kit IMO. It definitely had a more 60’s- 70’s vibe compared to the more classic 50’s style of the car. That’s just my opinion. But this kit with its 3 duece Buick nailhead V8 and the optional stripped interior and bomber seats this kit is postwar mid 50’s perfect. The steelies are super detailed. The optional low or highboy stances. It gives a builder the chance to assemble a well proportioned genuine “hotrod “. Best way to tell is look at cars from the Hot Rod movies of the day, especially “Ghost of Dragstrip Hollow”. Problems like flash and sink marks ? I saw nothing with the kit I got. I’d say buy it and enjoy!

Extremely underrated film.
In this age of CGI and 3D uber realism this shoestring budget animated tale excels beyond most modern efforts. The mix of stock footage and coloring is a jarring contrast to the simple animation style. As jarring as war truly is. To most surface level people who want a toon the true value will be lost. But for many the result will make this a must have, as it did me.

Bargain
I was impressed with the kit. While it is very simple and a curbside model the quality of the mold as well as the attention to detail make it a real good Buy. The kit originally was motorized and it would not take a great deal of effort to engineer a working motor and Battery as parts are supplied to locate both. Also a fantastic subject to make a slot car. I intend to buy another if not a few for gifts.
