Awesome value for a low budget survival knife.
The metal might be a little soft against other metals like brass, but against wood and the like, it will hold a sharp edge and sharpen easily.
You can remove the shinny black paint with rubbing alcohol and a cloth. A mat black finish will be revealed underneath the paint, which then makes it look more like a military knife.
You can remove the plastic cap at the end of the grip, thread the the metal tube that lines the inside of the handle, drop in some thread glue, and screw in a bolt to make a steel bolt end to the knife, so that it can be used as a hammer when camping (driving in stakes, cracking walnuts, etc.) or as an emergency glass breaker. See: you tube - search terms "glock knife bolt"
