Would not recommend it to swat flies.

It is too heavy and not flexible enough. Danger hitting a fly on the window. It could break the glass. Handle is 2 inches too short.

The round shape doesn't work like an oblong shape brush. The bristles are too stiff and hurts my back when scrubbing. Impossible to use for what it was meant for.
