Amana Tool SC401 Traditional Raised Panel 4-5/8 D x 1/2 & 3/4 Bore Shaper Cutter

Should be used in a shaper larger than one that has a 1/2" arbor. Too heavy massive for safe use in a smaller machine.

I will not use this cutter, not that it is not a high quality product but rather that it is more cutter than my machine should use. The manufacturing controls used in this cutter are excellent the finish is superb and edges are sharp and true. I only wish that I had a bigger shaper to avail myself in using this item. I do not blame the manufacturer for any misrepresentation and if I could find the proper sized shives to lower the f.p.m. of my shaper then I would attempt using the cutter, other wise it will sit in its original package unused.

Good for the money

It seems to be worth the money, but I wish that the cloth cover was a bit more 'substantial' as in covering more surface. Plus I also wish that the lens caps had a way of attaching to the scope in a secure fashion, I would hate to lose one.
