All you need at minimum for cordless lighting anywhere where it is not raining.
Shoot with a Pocket Wizard or attach a Profoto Air Remote to the Sync port and you are good to go. Switch out the lead acid battery for a lithium-ion battery for the best performance. Will work with any Acute Head.

Brighter and more defined circle of light
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an excellent modifier for portrait and fashion photography. The images are crisp and contrasty. Place a diffuser in front and the highlights are reduced. Increase/decrease the centre hot spot to your liking by zooming in/out. It is large and doesn't collapse for storage or transport. You may need to buy an expensive hard case like a Tenba for the ultimate protection or a cheaper soft case with less protection against impact like a 13"x11" Gator bag.
