The Parallax View
1 of 1 found this helpful This long awaited DVD release is a don't-miss early 70's political thriller. A seminal work towards the American penchant for conspiracy theories it sports some terrific hi-end moments. Watch for one of the great fight scenes ever putto film between Warren Beatty and sociopathic lawman Earl Hindman. The scene at the resevoir dam is incredibly frightening and (of course) the wild psyhcedelic 'rah-rah/USA/psychotic/mind control' slide-show at the sociopathic corporate human engineering firm. Much overlooked at the time it's become a true cult classic with super-stud Beatty succeeding as the obsessed misfit.

"Trinity and Beyond" Peter Kuran's Cold War epic is a masterpiece.
Peter Kuran's epic masterpiece never gets old. The archival footage the he cataloged is astounding, the interviews are insightful, and the result is both thrilling and terrifying.
