1 of 1 found this helpful My motherboard came with an i3 and i was able to upgrade to the i7. In my opinion the i7 860 is one of the best CPU's for a motherboard that has a 1156 CPU socket. You can save money buying a used CPU however, the only thing that you don't know is if the CPU sustained high amounts of heat. I recommend buying used CPU's. Great product!
