Well made, stylish, fit calves
The boots seem very well made and look stylish. I've worn them through two heavy rains this far and they've kept my feet dry. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 in shoes but the size 9 Hunter boots fit great (even with athletic socks). They fit around my calves with jeans as well, which is great because other Hunter boots I've tried are way too tight around my calves. (Hunter's website has a very detailed measurement/sizing system that I recommend you use when determining your own size.) They're easy to get on and off. The foot bed arch is a little farther back (toward the heel) than my actual arch but it's not uncomfortable. I can wear them for hours walking and driving. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase and look forward to rainy days so I can wear them!
