You could have this in the Complete Idiot Guide series it is that informative and beginner friendly. I would have paid 4 or 5 times what I did for it. GREAT BOOK.

VERY LIGHTWEIGHT,VERY WELL MADE, NEW TO ASUS

I have never had an ASUS before now. I have only had HP and Gateway. HP should be code for "Heinous Performance" as it is a godawful machine made by a company that does not honor its warranty. However, the Gateways have been good-but they don't make them en masse anymore and are hard to get. THIS WAS AN AWESOME DEAL IN COMPARISON. EVEN BETTER THAN MY GATEWAYS I THINK. I got great features and specs and what seems like to me a great quality machine-time will tell on how well it holds up. I am still getting used to this keyboard and the differences that different manufacturers use with regards to keyboard stuff. However, this feels about half the weight as my old (3 yr old) Gateway. I do not mind it is all plastic. I prefer a lighter weight machine. It has a nice screen and am getting some things marked as green or blue that look the opposite, so need to figure out how to make my colors accurate. I think this is speedy for my needs, (NOT A GAMER) I use it to stream videos-never have had to worry about it pausing on me, great job. I can't say anything bad, except perhaps the plug is so huge. The adapter that goes into the wall or strip is enormous and bulky. I don't like that. I don't know about the battery as I keep it plugged in. Highly recommend. I paid 499 in total including shipping for this. Great deal. (1/16)
