Tinier than your typical 'dish towel' scratchy & not absorbent

Ugh waste of $10 and shipping it back would just waste more of my time and money! These are not absorbent and don't even meet the measurement listed of 12x12, they're even smaller! It's my mistake that I didn't read the measurement. I assumed dish towel meant a towel large enough to dry dishes, these are NOT. They are the size of washcloths but I won't even be able to use them for that because they feel all scratchy, not soft. They were going to be part of a Christmas present and instead I'm literally tossing them directly into my rag basket.

My boyfriend loves this Stanley travel mug. He packs it in a backpack for work and nursing school most days--no leaks! He uses it for coffee around the house too since it really keeps it warm for a long time. I got one for his sister's boyfriend too and he uses his every single day also. So far they've held up well with daily use since Christmas. We handwash it very easily so it's staying absolutely pristine. I love the design- masculine, sleek but with a camping gear edge. Took him two or three cups to get used to the 'push button while sipping' mechanism but then it was smooth sailing:)
