    Avid modeler and collector. First glue bomb was a plastic 1/48 scale P-47D at age of five. Disappointed it didn't fly when I threw it. Goodbye prop. Dad also got me started in rubber band and string line flying. He would sometimes build models for friends and paying customers. Started collecting again in 1997 (Divorce and moved around a lot and lost my 60's - early 80;s collection). Settled down now in my old age and enjoy collecting and building vintage kits, wood and plastic. I especially find it hard to turn down a good deal so I had to put myself on a monthly budget. Now that I have retired it is common to be building 2 kits at once and haven't built a glue bomb in over 50 years. Love the frustrating details. Alternate between wood and plastic while one is drying. Enjoy building cars from my teenage years as correct as my memory allows. Thank goodness for the internet to research "plumbing" and wiring details. Keep listing good deals and we will get to know each other, I hope.
