Good working phone
It works well and has worked as hoped.

Dictionary is useful
Good book that explains, pronunciation, grammar, has idioms, etc., in the first few pages.
The dictionary portion though doesn't have an English pronunciation next to the Vietnamese word for extra help.

Phrasebook for travel
Good book arranged with grammar, pronunciation in the first few pages. Unfortunately, it doesn't put basic expressions at the beginning of the book, so need to learn them elsewhere.
