Great little grill !
1 of 1 found this helpful We purchased this grill in readiness for our 5 day camping trip in Devon. It was very easy to assemble and even easier to use. I the love ‘hot plate’ as is cooks with a hot and even heat allowing you to get the best out of your ingredients. We cooked scallops which seared beautifully on the outside while remaining tender and sweet on the inside. The griddle will give you perfect steak/burgers with griddle lines every time. The barbecue itself has a real feel of quality about it and is very sturdy. It also burns the charcoal very efficiently, with the coals remaining hot overnight until morning from just one small bag of self lighting charcoal. Very impressive. It is easy to clean once disassembled and is very compact for storing. Would be great if a carry case could be designed around this barbecue for greater portability with other camping gear. If anyone knows of one out there, please let me know. As with all barbecues, and British holidays, we encountered a bit of surface rust following a short spell of rain. This was easily wiped clean, but I would advise rubbing the grill and griddle down with a small amount of cooking oil if you plan to leave the barbecue outside for any extended period of time. All in all, very pleased with this purchase, a great bit of kit.

Kinross climbing frame, swing and slide set.
Delivered in very quick timeframe, much faster than the suggested estimated time of arrival. This is a very good quality wood product which comes ready treated. It arrives in three large boxes and a slide. Assembly is relatively straight forward although quite time consuming, principally because there are a lot of individual parts. Construction is also quite easy if you follow the step by step instructions. I like the fact that all of the screws, washers and bolts are easily identifiable in their individual bags - numbered and named clearly. The step by step guide then outlines clearly which screws, washers and/or bolts are required for each step. We had four sets of instructions, two versions in French and two in English. One set of instructions was for the Kinross climbing frame, the other set was for a different climbing frame of similar design. Be sure that you select the right set of instructions before you commit bolts/screws to wood. I also like the fact that each screw has the same universal head meaning that you don’t need to keep changing screw bits - you can just use the same one throughout construction. It’s a slightly odd screw head - a square head - which the manufacturer provides a screw bit for. It works reasonably well although I did have a number of screws where the screw bit couldn’t properly engage with the head. That being said the manufacturer provides plenty of spares so this didn’t present too much of a problem. It took me a day and half to finish the build although (the manufacturer suggest 9hrs in total) - some of my time to be fair was dodging in and out of the great British summer time showers. This meant that my instructions booklet got pretty wet. But this too was okay as instructions are posted on line so I was able to complete the build with my I-pad in hand. The end result is that we have a fantastic climbing frame set which my daughter adores. It is sturdy, has many features and is clearly built and designed to last. I would recommend this product, the company was straight forward to deal with and efficient, the product is of good quality and the end result is a very good addition to the garden play area for our little girls 3rd birthday.
