workhorse of a printer
1 of 1 found this helpful Recieved packaged with excellence. It had an error message when I started it, and I thought, oh no... Turns out the print heads had jossled loose in transit and was easily snugged back in using automated directions provided on printer screen for help-with my no prior experience with printer heads. Even though this is the HP Pro 8500P, it is slightly newer than the one I had. I have high expectations as I was able to get 56,000 prints out of my first one, which led me to buy used for this one. I imagine the only problem I can think of that I could run into would be not being able to find cartridges that will fit it down the road. I kept my last one in service with refilled ones-which did have an affect on the quality of the color prints, but for my purposes, it was fine. 56,000 was not a misprint. Happy with product.
*This one seems just a little noisier in the carriage movement when printing.
