Design flaw
Quite good quality, 316 stainless, good polish and appearance.
Negative is that the closed/drained bottom of the holder is so close to the cross pin at bottom of holder that a fishing rod barely can lock in to hold it properly. This constitutes a design flaw...which could be easily corrected if the cross pin was3/4 inch higher.

it's a Mighty Mouse
Really tiny, but excellent caster, simple to toss a one ounce bait 100' with 30 pound super braid.
Massive 20plus pound max drag for a little reel.
Time will tell if it's as durable as their older-style round reels.

Lighter alternative to an International
Big, but lighter weight. Lots of drag. Lots of line capacity especially with braid. Essentially a lighter weight International at 1/3 the cost. Yellowfin, wahoo, swordfish and up to medium marlin. I'll pack it with 130 braid and wind-on and use a roller guide bent butt from the fighting chair.
