High quality cartridge and they are working very well. Upon installation, pressure dropped dramatically and the vacuum sweep picked up a lot of speed. Also had to replace the bottom manifold which had a number of cracks in it and was allowing what was being pulled into the filter to come right back out again. In my opinion, a very poor design by Hayward having four heavy cartridges sit on top of a plastic manifold. With chemicals and the weight of the cartridges, after several years these manifolds will crack and whatever dirt is being pulled in will be sent right back into the pool. However, Hayward and the other manufacturers of these manifolds are able to sell replacements. Planned obsolescence at it's finest.
