Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Lens
1 of 2 found this helpful Having been a photographer both for fun and profit for 40 years, I always find that I need a lense that is wider than I have. In the 35mm days, I had a 15, 17, 20, 24, etc. The 17-18mm wide end of many consumer zooms ends up being a 28mm equivalent. I just had to have something wider. After comparing the Canon with other after market manufacturers, I decided the Canon was the way to go. I don't regret the price. It is an extremely sharp lens. My first use was 2 weeks in Alaska, and the photos are wonderful. I also have the lens hood for it, but it is rather cumbersome - very large in diameter. Before shopping at ebay I tried to order from several cut rate places on the internet - what a bunch of snakes. If the price is too good to be true, it is too good to be true.
