Case feedback
I really like the way this case looks. It I’m not sure this will actually work since the case I received had buttons that were either broken or too stiff to function properly. For example, the power button presses against the phone so much that the phone tries to shut down by itself.

Apple Watch vs. Samsung Gear S3
I've owned and used both the Apple Watch and Samsung Gear S3. Comments on each:
Apple watch Pros: great build quality, excellent user experience, tightly integrated with iPhone and the Apple ecosystem. Hardware and software are top notch
Apple Watch Cons: Slightly pricey accessories (but you do get what you pay for), I wish Apple allowed 3rd party watch faces
Samsung Gear S3 Pros: great variety of watch faces, round dial "looks more like a watch"
Samsung Gear S3 Cons: user experience/interface is not as smooth as Apple, watch continuously disconnected from iPhone (not sure if this is also the case with Samsung phones), limited water resistance rating
