transluscent material is reasonable to good quality, but the frame is the same as $8 umbrellas from china (all of which i've owned have had very short natural life spans). i thought i was paying extra (5 times as much) to get one that lasts, but i suspect that won't be so.
but i thought 'live and learn'.... but what pushed me to write this review (and i do actually hate being critical) is a closing latch that prevents the shaft being fitted properly to an umbrella holder. these latches are lovely if your umbrella is meant for rain, but shear studipity for a photographic umbrella.
now, i could see in the ad that the shaft was longer than usual for a photographic umbrella, but i thought i'd be able to work around it. now to look at it however, the umbrella is obviously an el-cheapo that has had the waterproof fabric replaced with transluscent material. enterprising, but poorly thought through.

highly recommended with one proviso
well made product and the huge 16kg load rating seems feasible. - it is rock solid. the bubble levels seem reliable except one (which is a fair cop - no problem), which are also consistent with the angle markings on the head. a very professional head, but only one issue:
i have to buy a new l-bracket because it's arca swiss fitting is smaller than the induro arca swiss fitting. induro doesn't make an l-plate and the website acknowledges there are now different size arca swiss fittings on the market, and suggests you just keep buying them until you find one that fits. that is honestly what it says. why didn't they just make the clamp to fit the smaller fittings on the market as well as the larger ones - allowing the clamp move a further 2mm would have covered them all. one piece of lazy design blemishes an otherwise excellent tripod head

very good
easy to work with, fits on the lens easy and secure and all fits together well, apart from the frames being very tight in the holder. you do have to be firm.
checked the cpl against a fusion and a kaesemann and iq of the benro is about the same but the colour temp is between the cool fusion and the warm b+w. only the slightest increase of green in the tone from the benro but you'really have to look for it.
a very good professional product
