Amcrest NV4108-HS 1080P Supports up to 8 x 8-MP IP (6TB, Wifi Not Included)

Suitable for existing Amcrest environments.

If you have existing Amcrest cameras and want an approved NVR to record video, this is a good choice. Once you figure out the directions (not exactly accurate), the device will recognize your Amcrest cameras and you can set up your system. The interface is a little awkward to me , but with a little playing around you can get the hang of it. The fan on the device is noisy. I had this by my TV and had to place it in the stand's cabinet to try and lessen the noise. You might get use to it (or maybe I got a noisy fan). Haven't checked to see if I can use a wireless mouse (the cable length on the provided mouse limits your distance when accessing the NVR).

All the right features but set up can be confusing.

WI-fi, plug in for power, add storage capacity, optional DVR available for reasonable price (must add Hard drive). Synced well with my phone. Resolution pretty good. Setting up on desktop little more confusing. Doesn't seem to like Microsoft edge. And Internet Explorer is clumsy in Windows 10. Using with Chrome is okay but not seamless. Haven't signed up for cloud yet so don'y know how well it interfaces with Amazon Alexa.
