Buyer wasn't able to make the MB boot - was listed "as-is" no-return auction - buyer forced an exception after return appeal made to Ebay (of note, motherboard IS working perfectly as described, was likely a setup issue for buyer with the extra power connectors required for Threadripper boards). Good communication, ultimately a happy ending - please wikidcro98 note return policy in the future, as this can force negative feedback outcome & incurred shipping for innocent good faith sellers. Thx!

works as advertised - no issues. Has a battery protector which is nice so battery should be fresh. Don't forget to remove it before using product lol.

Nifty!
These 8300's fit a great niche - can get i3 / i5 or even i7's so they're perfectly fast for typical daily driving for workstations and home (non-gaming) PC's.
These are EXTREMELY easy to work on. The case is very tough - can use as a monitor stand, or buy a foot for it and stand on end - and lid is threaded for VESA mounting behind monitors or to wall, shelf, etc.
Very quiet (mine's almost silent). They don't usually come with Wifi but can easily find the internal antenna kit (which is very good) and can get an intel a/b/g/AC and bluetooth combo card for cheap.
Best of all, you can get a mini PCI SSD card for it and have a dual hard drive setup as well (and be very fast of course). This puts it on par with any new workstation, esp. for the price. internal graphics are fine and most of these have 3 monitor outputs (2 Display port and one VGA).
Can even still find the add on SD card reader, tho it's not very cheap (better to use USB adapter).
Replacement motherboards are plentiful on ebay for about $40, so it's exceedingly easy to work on if something breaks -- can disassemble this completely in 10 min.
Basically a perfect SOHO / small business product, but also the form factor would make it great for a home theater PC, kids room PC, kitchen PC, etc.
Basically I say BUY THESE while they're still plentiful. I'd advise spending a bit more and getting the 8300 vs. the 8200 or 8000 (you get USB 3 and better graphics with the i3 / i5 / i7).
These are basically a great buy for a PC, and still very current and capable. External power brick PSU makes the form factor awesome for all sorts of use cases. Do not be afraid to use the i5 / i7 versions as a PC you can push pretty heavily - it will handle even fairly taxing desktop daily driver duties just fine, esp. if
Most come with license for Win7 or Win8, but here's a tip -- put Ubuntu or Solus Linux on them (free) and you'll have an amazingly fast little mini PC. 2017 is going to be a very big year for Linux desktop machines - they are becoming quite usable and flexible with software availability (most of which is free to use).
