WAGONS, HO - SEASON 5 A FAVORITE!
As always, Howard Christie produced a great Season 5, along with all the A-1 directors . Robert Horton wrote Flint McCullough's biography before Wagon Train began. Horton's last appearance answered many questions I've had about Flint's personality through the first four seasons.
As always Frank McGrath and Terry Wilson are entertaining as they trade barbs with each other. John McIntire's role and personality are beginning to be developed as he makes his presence as wagon master firmly solidified.
The variety of scenery is captured beautifully. I'd really like to drive the Overland Trail some day.
Season 5 is probably my favorite season for many reasons. As Chris Hale says, "Wagons, Ho!"
