Hoover faulty tank valves

Hoover will not sell replacement valves separate for their faulty product. They want you to buy the complete tank at $70. This is the third valve failure on a Hoover tank that I have personally had and this third tank was less than 6 months old. Both compartments leaked. Do not purchase a replacement tank from Hoover. Replacement valves are the way to go as sold by this site, which I did purchase. I was fearful that the replacement valves may have the same issues as Hoover's original product. Not so. No leakage. I did RTV the new valves on to the Hoover tank as an extra measure.
