Axim X3
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought an X3, because I was replacing one that I had that I broke. The backup battery on an X3 is buried in the guts, and requires more experience than I, a Dell certified tech and an A+ certified tech had. That was less bragging about me than putting my opinion on taking it apart in perspective.
When I received my replacement unit, it came without a battery, or a stylus, make sure you're aware of what you're getting when you order it. Look at the photo, to make you're getting everything you expect to get.
I have since replaced my X3 with an X5. The X5 uses a 2032 coin cell battery, which is easily accessed through a door on the back.
