Near Perfect
Set up of this smoker is pretty easy if you already have some experience with wifi and how things work. Instructions are straight forward and there are youtube videos if you need any help. Smoked a 4lb chicken for my first testing of this smoker. The Char-Broil app has its flaws and needs more recipes but overall it worked pretty good. It guides you through the whole process. The only thing I needed to do once I started the chicken was to add more wood chips around the 45 minutes into the cook. The chicken was cooked to perfection and smelled great! Overall, this smoker is made very well. It's insulated nicely to keeps the smoke in. Clean up was easy as well. I've seen alot of complaints about wifi and connection issues. All I can say is a wifi signal only travels so far. It has to pass through walls and other objects to reach the smoker outside. If your wireless modem/router is far from this smoker then you will have issues. If that's the case, get a wifi extender. They cost around $15. My wifi router/modem is on the 2nd floor in the front of the house. I only lost signal once during the cooking period. Once it reconnected everything resumed as it should on my phones app. It continued to cook as well even when the smoker lost the wifi signal. If the app was updated I would give this a 5 star rating. Otherwise, I can't wait to get more use out of this in the summer.

Great Little Action Camera
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this to replace my Hero Session 5. Battery life is fantastic. Plenty of features and actually more than the GoPro. For it being an older action camera, it still holds it's ground today. I recommend getting a protective case as it's not waterproof. I also modded mine with a 3.77mm Pixaero lens. It gets rid of the distortion when taking wide angle shots. The app for the Yi has a feature to do the same but you lose some of the shot due to cropping. With the mod, you do not. But anyway, this camera works very good. It's lightweight and very easy to operate. The touch screen is very easy to see and control. I would definitely buy again. No, I didn't receive one for free for this review. I bought it and just wanted to post my personal opinion on this camera. At this price, it's a no-brainer!
