Excellent Quality Starter Kit for $40 or less.
Excellent 'kit' for those new to electronics. More modern kits can be had, but they tend to be over-priced IMHO, for what you get. I've had very good luck with Radio Shack component quality, and this kit did not disappoint. Coupled with the more modern Arduino, ESP-32 and other microcontrollers this offers a great way to get started on learning and building your component library. Would definitely buy again for the right price!

A Must Have for fans of Forrest Mimms teaching style
Forrest Mimms is a legend in the "Learning Electronics" world. This book (and the companion vol2), a compilation of his articles from multiple publications, is excellent. Its well written and offers a wide range of thought provoking and *repeatable* circuits to build that have been tested. Highly recommend for new learners and would buy again.
