Great microphone for "Singing Machine" Karaoke
I bought a used Karaoke machine that came with two Radio Shack microphones, but one of them had been damaged by the previous owner. I tried several replacement types including a Pyle microphone purchased through Amazon and a Panasonic microphone purchased through an electronics parts dealer and didn't like either of those. These Radio Shack mics have a very rich tone that make your voice sound great! The Pyle and Panasonic were harsh and bright and nobody sounded good.
I'd say these Radio Shack mics are highly underrated!

A great book in the spirit of "Dances with Wolves"
If you enjoyed and were moved by the movie "Dances with Wolves" then "Bury my heart at Wounded Knee" will be a great read for you. I found the author's style to be more far more enjoyable than a typical documentary. The writing flows and definitely connects you to the magnitude and magic of the events in the 1800's as the west was "conquered". I felt like I was able to see things as they really were. My heart went out to the american indians and I gained a real admiration for their lifestyle and culture. "Bury my heart" is highly recommended.
