Micro 4:3 has a bad low-light rep
2 of 2 found this helpful Compared to FF or ASP-C m43 has a rep it's not as good in low-light. With modern software like Topaz you can eliminate most of this noise in post. Having said that this lens lets you keep the ISO low enough in low-light that you don't experience this much noise. Photos indoors under natural light handheld without a tripod are possible with this lens. It'll be perfect for my next project, cathedrals in Italy.

If you need to figure out where to start - this is it
1 of 1 found this helpful While trying to self educate myself on evaluating Samurai swords I came across this book. Quite simply it tells you everything you need to look for.
Although the information is a bit dated (some of the swords it says are not worth collection, due to scarcity have become desirable)the science/art behind it remains considerably significant.
If I had to start with one book, this would be it.
If I had read this book BEFORE I first bid I would have saved myself from a $150 Chinese replica mistake

Great for video
No fan, no noise, PoE, what more do you want. Great for small locations without ventilation.
