Resurrected a Laptop I thought Was Gone for Good!

This heatsink and fan assembly resurrected a laptop that was overheating, and nothing else I tried helped. Apparently the old heatsink was bad in some way (too much thermal cycling broke something?), and this replacement unit worked from minute one! No more overheating and throttling! The price was also great compared to what a new assembly cost. Definitely a great purchase!
