Does what it says on the Box

Don't know if I missed the small print but I was surprised t find out that the item was factory second and the manufactures guarantee was not applicable., having said that it works fine and boils very quickly, I love the fact that it has variable volume control, can fill a large teapot with a couple of goes and can also dispense a single cup/mug
